One of my favorite book covers from António Garcia. Why pink? Well, the Portuguese title has nothing to do with red.

It’s my blog birthday (blirthday?!)! Words & Eggs entered the visual world 4 years ago today. Thanks for hanging on for the ride and for making the journey so wonderfully enjoyable!

G70, Charlotte Road.

I was walking around Shoreditch yesterday when I came across this lovely typographic image painted on a door next to the Kemistry Gallery on Charlotte Road. I wasn’t sure what it represented at the time, but a quick online search revealed it to be connected to a retrospective look at the work of Kemistry Co-Founder Graham McCallum, marking his Seventieth birthday.

Sadly, the exhibition has now passed, but I love this design and hope that it isn’t replaced any time soon as it brings a bold, colourful statement to the street.
